Workshop Content:

Whole body electrical neuro-stimulation prompts the nervous system to gain residual and long-lasting effects on motor disabilities and chronic pain. Understanding how mild, sensory electrical stimulation activates specific mechanisms in the central nervous system to alleviate motor function disorders itself. Relieving dystonia, ataxia, improve function, balance, and range of movement. All common symptoms for people with stroke, traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, MS, chronic pain syndromes, cerebral palsy and other injuries to the nervous system. Whole body electrical neuro-stimulation is programmed by a trained specialist for the specific symptoms of the individual. Making sure that every patient gets the maximum help and benefit.

Developed with the assistance of the most eminent Swedish research institutes, whole body electrical neuro-stimulation has been used in Europe since 2013 for people with motor impairments and disabilities to improve function and alleviate pain with no negative side-effects.

This seminar will show some of the many applications of whole body electrical neuro-stimulation. It can be used in a home environment or a clinical setting and help to enhance rehabilitation training. Whole body electrical neuro-stimulation interacts with the individual’s nervous system to reach learning, relearning, neuroplasticity and neurogenesis.
