Level I – course covers the basic skills necessary and to safely begin Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) techniques. In this introductory skills acquisition course, participants will receive hands-on instruction in the proper use of IASTM through a lab-focused teaching format. The course will address proper instrument selection to address body contours and shoulder, knee, elbow, forearm, lower leg.

Level II – Advanced IASTM course builds on the principles covered in the introductory IASTM course. Using a case-study lab-focused teaching format, advanced treatment strokes are introduced and problem solving skills are emphasized. This course includes the utilization of motion with IASTM and treatment on neck, hip, spinal area and thigh.
