It quickly measures body temperature by collecting infrared thermal radiation emitted from the human ear canal. Simply align the probe with the ear canal and press the measurement button to obtain accurate readings. This product is widely used in schools, customs, hospitals, and homes, providing safe, rapid, and non-contact body temperature detection. It is specially designed to prevent the probe from inserting too deeply into the ear canal, avoiding damage to the eardrum and ensuring user safety.

Precautions

  • Cleaning and Measurement Preparation:
    • Keep the sensor and probe cavity clean and dry; measuring in a humid state may cause errors.
    • If there is earwax buildup in the ear canal, clean it first; before measurement, remove the probe protection cap, straighten the ear canal, and gently align the probe with the eardrum—misalignment may cause errors.
    • If ear drops or other medications have been applied to the ear canal, use the other untreated ear for measurement.
    • When ambient temperature changes significantly, allow the thermometer to acclimate to the environment for at least 30 minutes; after wearing a hearing aid or lying on a pillow, wait 20-30 minutes before measuring.
